Can I get a refund for my travel extras?

You will get a refund for travel extras if:

• There is an aircraft change or flight disruption that results in you being moved to another airline’s flight.
• Finnair was unable to provide the pre-paid travel extras.

If neither of these applies, refunds for travel extras depend on your ticket type’s rules.

• Flex tickets: Unused travel extras are refundable.
• Superlight, Light and Classic tickets: Travel extras are non-refundable, except in these cases:
  • If you purchased Finnair Cancellation Cover and cancel your booking due to illness or an accident, you are eligible for a full refund, including travel extras. Learn more about Finnair Cancellation Cover.
  • If you cancel your booking within 24 hours of purchase for flights departing in more than 7 days, you are entitled to a full refund, including travel extras.
