Are you eager to spend your Avios, but don’t have quite enough for what you want? Or would you want to give Avios to a friend or family member?
Through your membership account, you can easily subscribe to Avios, buy Avios for yourself and others or transfer your Avios to someone else. In addition, you can also exchange your Avios for tier points to stay on your current tier or get to the next one.

Avios can be purchased from Finnair Shop's Buy Avios page. Please note that you need to log in to see the prices and buy Avios. They will be added to your account 1–3 days after the purchase.
Where to use Avios? You can use your Avios, for example, for booking award flights, upgrading travel classes, shopping at Finnair Shop and purchasing services from our partners. You can also use Avios to reach a higher tier by converting Avios to tier points at a 3:1 ratio.
We have reset the annual buy limit for this offer. This means that even if you’ve already reached your annual cap of 200,000 Avios, you can still buy up to 200,000 Avios during the offer period.
Your Avios won't expire as long as you have one transaction every 18 months. This means buying Avios now will extend the validity of your existing Avios for another 18 months – this is your chance to top up Avios!

If you would prefer to top up your Avios balance every month, you can subscribe to Avios. An Avios Subscription helps you ensure that you have enough Avios available for use every month. Choose a package from our four options: 2,000 Avios, 4,000 Avios, 10,000 Avios or 20,000 Avios per month. You can select either a monthly or annual payment.
You can also transfer your Avios to other people. Transferred Avios will not count towards the Finnair Plus tier point balance but can be used for purchasing all kinds of valuable rewards.
A €10 service charge will be added when you transfer Avios online at Finnair Shop. For Avios transfers made through our customer service, a €20 service charge will be added. Finnair Visa Credit cardholders can transfer Avios to another Finnair Plus account free of charge at Finnair Shop. Please note that Avios transfers between Finnair Plus accounts are not counted as Avios activity and do not affect the Avios expiry date. Avios cannot be transferred to a Finnair Plus Junior account.
Do you have a British Airways Executive Club account? Link it to your Finnair Plus account and transfer Avios between them. This gives you even more opportunities to collect and use Avios.

If you need some extra tier points to stay in your current Finnair Plus membership tier or if you want to move up to the next tier, you can exchange 3 Avios for 1 tier point with a minimum exchange of 500 tier points.
The maximum amount of tier points available for exchange is based on your current tier at the time of exchange.
Exchanged tier points will be instantly added to your account. The points are valid until the end of your current tracking period.
Double-check the tier points you need before completing the exchange, as the transaction is non-refundable and you may only exchange once during your personal tracking period. A service fee of €10 will be charged for exchanges online and €20 for exchanges through our customer service.
Note: tier points from exchange are not considered tier points earned from Finnair flights, which is a requirement for Platinum Lumo status.
