The Finnish Border Guard and Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare have updated the requirements for entry to Finland. Finnair requires a coronavirus test certificate or similar from travellers to Finland as of 28 January 2021.
The coronavirus situation still affects air travel significantly, and many countries have set travel restrictions. We will adjust our traffic plan according to the demand and changing travel restrictions.
Several countries' authorities have introduced requirements for customers arriving in the country. Please note that as a traveller you are responsible for ensuring that you fulfill these requirements.
During the winter holiday season, the number of customers at Helsinki Airport and on our flights increases. Busy times are expected at the airport from time to time.

Flights between Helsinki and Nanjing temporarily suspended from 20 November 2020 onwards

We will suspend our flights between Helsinki and Nanjing in China temporarily from 20 November 2020 onwards due to the policy regarding the threshold for coronavirus cases detected following a 2-week quarantine after entry to China.
