Finnair Visa Credit is your credit card at home and around the world. Every purchase adds up to your Finnair Plus account and you’ll collect up to 2 Avios for every euro you spend, depending on your membership tier. The Finnair Visa Credit card is issued by Aktia Bank Plc.
You do not need to have an account in Aktia in order to apply for the card. You must have a Finnish social security number and a permanent address in Finland when applying. See terms (PDF, in Finnish).

Please note: You cannot collect Avios from paying bills, cash withdrawals or bank transfers. Avios will be added to your Finnair Plus account in the middle of the following month after the purchase. For example, Avios collected in March 2024 will be added to members' accounts 12–16 April 2024. The number of Avios you collect each month depends on your membership tier at the time when the Avios are awarded.
For the credit feature of the card, the effective annual interest rate and the total amount of credit and credit costs payable are calculated assuming a credit amount of EUR 2,000, a credit period of one year and a full drawdown, the credit interest and fees remaining the same throughout the credit period, and the credit being repaid in 12 equal monthly instalments. The interest rate on the credit is 3-month Euribor + 11.50%, the account management fee is EUR 3.90/invoice**, and the monthly fee is EUR 6. The effective annual interest rate is 28,46 % (calculated 09/2024, 3-month Euribor 3,468 %) and the total amount to be paid is EUR 2 284,68 euro with the above assumptions. The interest rate used in the example calculation is based on a representative calculation of the credit granted. The card is issued by Aktia Bank plc.
