Normally, our Finnair Kitchen chefs prepare thousands of handmade meals in Vantaa every day. Now that we are currently flying less, we decided to launch a new selection of high-quality meals to K-Citymarket Vantaa Tammisto. Pick your favourite and get ready to take off on a journey of flavours!

Meals

The new Taste of Finnair meals are inspired by the awarded meal selection of Finnair’s Business Class. The selected meals created by our top chefs have fresh, high-quality flavours from the Finnish nature, as well as delicious and exotic flavours from traditional Japanese kitchen.

Taste of Finnair meals are available in K-Citymarket Vantaa Tammisto. The store is located at Tammiston kauppatie 9, 01510 Vantaa.

Meals along with wine recommendations rotate on a weekly basis. The main courses are available every day and the appetiser is available from Friday to Sunday. You can find our current meal selection with details below.

Appetisers

Glow-fried salmon, horseradish sauce and pickled vegetables

Wine recommendation: Classic tangy and fresh Sancerre from the Loire Valley. Also, a more mature Sauvignon Blanc with currant undertone forms a refined combination with the glow-fried salmon.

Reindeer meatballs with dark blackcurrant sauce and roasted root vegetable puree

Wine recommendation: Rustic and medium-bodied Côtes du Rhône red wine is a classic combination with game meat. Earthy flavours together with aromas of cherry and plum top off the whole.

Wine recommendation: Modern New World slightly spicy Pinot Noir. If you are looking for a more full-bodied wine, you can also try jammy Australian Shiraz.
