Frequently asked questions

Can I take crutches or walking sticks on board?

Yes, you may bring your canes, elbow crutches or walking poles used to assist you in walking into the cabin with you.

Please note that if your canes, crutches or poles have spikes, they may be interpreted as sharp objects during security checkpoints and thus must be transported in the hold. If the spikes are detachable, we recommend removing them and placing them in your checked baggage. Security checkpoint procedures may vary between airports.
