Experience the thrill of flying with the Airbus A320 simulator
What do the take-off, approach and landing or different weather conditions feel like for a pilot? Now is your chance to find out, when the Finnish Aviation Museum opens its Airbus A320 simulator for the public in early October.
You can book your slot online or at the museum customer service from 7 October 2020. During the flight, you can try out the basics of flying and proper flight procedures during the flight. The more experienced pilots can try some more difficult flying techniques, fly under different weather conditions, or navigate longer flight routes via the radio systems.
Every simulator flight is guided by experienced flight instructors. Some of them are current or retired Finnair pilots, so you’ll be able to ask any questions you may have about flying and aviation.
The new simulator world at the Aviation Museum opens on 4 November 2020. The museum currently has three different simulators, from vintage civilian planes to warbirds. In addition to the new Airbus A320 simulator, the museum is also introducing an H135 helicopter from Airbus Helicopters.
