Frequently asked questions

Can I bring my wheelchair on Finnair flights?

Yes, you can travel with your wheelchair on all Finnair flights. You can carry two mobility aids on your flight in the cargo hold free of charge.

The number of large mobility aids transported in the hold may be limited. Please inform us of your wheelchair via our special assistance form after booking your ticket, at least 48 hours before your flight. If you are unable to fill in the form for any reason, you can contact our customer service via phone at +358 9 818 0800 or via chat. You must provide the following information about your wheelchair or mobility aid in advance: wheelchair/mobility aid type and its size and weight. In case of a battery-operated wheelchair/mobility aid we need to have the battery details. You can check the status of your request in Manage booking.
