If your baggage doesn’t arrive on the same flight with you, please contact the Arrival Service desk in the arrivals hall where a delayed baggage report will be created.

If you’ve left something on a Finnair aircraft arriving at Helsinki Airport

Items left on Finnair flights or lost at Helsinki Airport are taken to the Excess Baggage Company service desk at Helsinki Airport. You can enquire about your item online at www.lostproperty.org (choose Airport / Airline).

Tobacco products and alcohol left on the aircraft are given to Helsinki Airport Customs Passenger Control.

If you’ve left something at other airports in Finland, please contact the airport information desk. You can find contact details on each airport’s website.

If you’ve left something on a Finnair aircraft while it was outside of Finland

Contact the local airport’s lost and found office.

If you’ve left your passport on Finnair flights

If you’ve lost a passport on a Finnair flight to or from the non-Schengen area, it will be given to Finnish Border Control. Passports left on flights within the Schengen area will be given to the Excess Baggage Company.
