Effects of London Heathrow Airport restrictions on our flights
Due to capacity restrictions set by London Heathrow Airport, Finnair is unfortunately forced to reduce seats on its London-Helsinki flights on 15 July - 29 October 2022.
Finnair, among other airlines, under the threat of legal action from London Heathrow Airport, is required to limit the number of customers departing from Heathrow Airport due to heavy congestion at peak times. Finnair is unfortunately forced to reduce flight capacity on 15 July - 29 October 2022.

How do I know if my reservation is changed?
We will contact you personally via SMS and/or e-mail, if there are changes to your reservation. Please go to Manage booking and check that we have your current contact information, so that we can reach you if needed.
You can choose from the following options, if your reservation is changed:
We do our best to re-route you to your destination as soon as possible. Please note that the availability of alternative flights is currently very limited. Thank you for your patience. We’ll send you your new flight information via SMS and/or email, and you can check it and other possible flight options also via Manage booking. In case you don’t find a suitable alternative flight in Manage booking, you can contact our customer service or your travel agency.
You can apply for a refund online for your unused flight ticket.
If you want to travel but we were unable to offer you an alternative flight, please contact our customer service.
Contacting our customer service
If you booked your ticket through a travel agency or a tour operator, please contact them to make changes to your reservation. If you booked your ticket through Finnair, our customer service is working hard to help you.
