Finnair Ice Hockey World Championship 2022 - instructions for participation

Finnair invites everyone to cheer for Leijonat to win the World Ice Hockey Championship by producing an almighty cheer and sharing it on social media.

Here's how to enter the #leijonahuuto competition:

  1. Video your own cheer. 
  2. Share your cheers on social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) using the hashtag #leijonahuuto from 5 May to 17 May 2022.

Finnair will reward the best cheers with World Cup tickets and Leijonat team shirts.

Finnair 5 May-17 May 2022: #Leijonahuuto (Lion Shout) competition

1. Organiser

2. Eligibility

All natural persons are eligible. However, employees of the organising party or employees of companies and organisations that have been involved in this competition or their family members may not participate in the competition. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify entrants who appear to be attempting to abuse the competition in order to alter the results or probabilities.

3. Duration of participation

The #Leijonahuuto campaign lasts for 13 days, and you can enter the competition between 5 May and 17 May 2022. Entries received after the end of the competition period will not be considered. The Organiser shall not be responsible for any technical failures or human errors that may occur during the competition. Finnair will select the winners of the competition by 19 May 2022.

4. Participation

Finnair invites everyone to cheer Leijonat (the Lions) to win by producing an almighty cheer and sharing it on social media.

You can enter the #leijonahuuto competition (the “competition”) by sharing videos on your own social media account using the #leijonahuuto hashtag on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok. You can enter the competition multiple times. Participation is voluntary and does not require the purchase of a product or service.

By entering the competition, the entrant confirms that he/she fulfils the conditions set out in these rules and releases the organiser from any liability related to the prizes and their use. The winners will be selected according to the competition rules from among all participants in the competition.

5. Selection of winners and prices

The prizes are three (3) premium tickets for two on 21 May 2022 for the Finland-Austria ice hockey game, and two (2) Leijonat team shirts. A total of five (5) winners will be selected and each prize is worth approximately 200-400 €.

The winners will be selected by 19 May 2022 from among all participants in the competition.

6. Redemption of the prize

The winners will be selected by 19 May 2022 from among all eligible entrants according to the competition rules.Winners will be notified about their win and how to redeem their prize in person and the Organiser shall have the right to publish the first and last name of the winners in a social media post. Prizes will be delivered to the winners in person.

If the winner cannot be reached within fourteen (14) days of winning, the Organiser shall have the right to select a new winner. The prize of the competition cannot be converted into cash or exchanged for other goods.

7. Taxes

The Organiser is responsible for the taxes and fees payable for the competition prizes.

8. Processing and collection of personal data

The Organiser will process the data of the participants in order to carry out the competition and present the prizes.

9. Responsibiliity of the organiser

Prize winners agree to discharge the Organiser, as well as any other partners involved in the organisation of the campaign, from all liability and possible damages incurred or alleged to have been incurred as a result of participating in this campaign or receiving or using the prize. The Organiser shall not be held responsible for incomplete and incorrect entries. The Organiser shall not be liable for any damages or costs incurred or alleged to have been incurred directly or indirectly as a result of participating in this competition. The Organiser shall not be responsible for any problems or obstacles to participating in the campaign or receiving the prize due to from IT-related issues.

Facebook does not sponsor, recommend, or administer the competition in any way, and it is in no way affiliated with Facebook. In addition to the competition rules, entrants agree to abide by the terms and conditions of Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.

10. Changing the rules and conditions

The Organiser reserves the right to change the rules. The Organiser may suspend the competition on justified grounds. All entrants agree to abide by these rules and the Organiser's decisions concerning the competition.
