Can I take knitting needles on board the aircraft?
Yes, knitting needles are generally allowed as carry-on baggage on Finnair flights. However, some airports may have stricter rules, especially for metal needles. It's up to the airport officials to make the final decision.
As plastic or wooden knitting needles are more likely to be allowed, we recommend bringing those instead of metal ones.
You can also pack your knitting needles in checked baggage.
