Finnair will cancel about 550 flights on 1–2 February 2024 due to the political strike, which significantly impacts Helsinki Airport’s and Finnair’s operations.

Due to capacity restrictions set by London Heathrow Airport, Finnair is unfortunately forced to reduce seats on its London-Helsinki flights on 15 July - 29 October 2022.
Finland has opened for travel from the EU and Schengen countries. Travel from outside of the EU and Schengen area remains restricted until 30 June 2022. Entry requirements to Finland in this travel update article are valid between 15 February to 30 June 2022.

Delays in handling both departing and arriving baggage at Helsinki Airport continue during January. We deliver your baggage to you as soon as possible but unfortunately it currently takes longer than normally and can take some days.

Berlin’s new airport Berlin Brandenburg will open on 31st of October 2020. We will start operating all our Berlin flights to/from Berlin Brandenburg Airport terminal 1 from 8th of November 2020 onwards. Until 7th of November all our flights to/from Berlin will depart from and arrive at Tegel Airport, which then will be closed permanently.

Norra’s pilot union FAPA ry. has informed about working restrictions regarding standby work of their pilots as of Dec 1, 2018. As Norra operates many of our domestic and regional flights, cancellations are possible due to these working restrictions.
