Cancel and refund your entire booking

Please note: 

  • If you have already used your flight ticket or a travel extra but want to apply for compensation or give feedback, you can do it through the Feedback and claims page.
  • Has Finnair cancelled or changed your flight due to disruptions? If you choose not to travel, you can use the self-service tool above to cancel and request a refund. If you are unable to complete the request using the tool, please use the refund form below instead.
  • Are you requesting refunds only for travel extras or downgrades? Please use the refund form below.

For all other refunds

Please use the form below only if:
  • You are unable to access your booking using the self-service tool above
  • Your flight has already departed, and you did not use the ticket
  • You want to request a refund for travel extras only (for example, seats, baggage)
  • You were downgraded from the ticket type you originally purchased

We handle refunds requested through this form manually, so it usually takes 4–6 weeks to process.

A €50 service fee applies unless Finnair disrupted your flight or was unable to provide the service you paid for, you have a Flex ticket, or you were not able to cancel and refund through our self-service tool.

Where did you purchase your flight ticket and/or travel extra?

Please send your request only once, as duplicates will delay the handling of the applications. If you have inbound and outbound flights on the same ticket, you need to complete the refund form only once.

Refund payment method

We will pay the refund to the same credit card account or to another payment method that you used to purchase the ticket. It is good to know that the refund payment may be shown on the date your ticket was issued instead of the refund payment date.
