Finnair changed or cancelled my flight due to flight disruption. What are my refund options?
You are eligible for a full refund of the unused parts of your ticket if any of the following apply:
- You choose not to travel because your flight was cancelled, and the alternative flight Finnair suggested is not suitable for you, or there is no alternative flight.
- You choose not to travel because there was a schedule change of at least 1 hour (If schedule changes were less than 1 hour, a refund will be based on your ticket rules).
- You choose not to travel due to a heavy delay of more than 5 hours.
- You choose not to travel because your flight was overbooked, and the suggested alternative option is not suitable for you.
You can cancel your entire booking in Manage booking, and a refund request will be created automatically. If you are unable to complete the request through Manage booking, you can fill out the Refund form instead.
