With Business Light tickets, you are entitled to:  

  • a small bag and one carry-on bag (combined weight max. 12kg/26.5lb).  

With Business Classic and Flex tickets, you are entitled to:

  • a small bag and one carry-on bag (combined weight max. 12kg/26.5lb)
  • one checked bag (max. 23kg/50lb) on flights within Europe
  • two checked bags (32kg/70lb) on flights to or from Asia, North America and the Middle East  
  • priority services at the airport and access to our business lounges.

New, innovative seat on our long-haul flights

Enjoy furniture-like comfort with our entirely new Collins’ AirLounge seat that amplifies your personal space and freedom to move with its innovative contoured shell design. The seat offers you the best-in-class sleep comfort by turning into a spacious lay-flat bed with a proper mattress pad and exclusive Marimekko design textiles. 

All this together with the ample stowage features, personal custom-design reading light and built-in USB A and C sockets, PC power and standard wireless charger help make yourself feel at home above the clouds.

Travelling with kids? All children who have turned 2 years old must be able to sit in the AirLounge seat on their own for the whole flight and use regular safety belts. As our Business Class is designed to provide maximum privacy, it is not possible to reach the child from another seat especially when the safety belt sign is on. Read more about family travel.

All our menus are accompanied by carefully selected premium wines to create an elegant flight ambience.

Our menus are based on the flight time and destination, and there are always both Nordic and destination-oriented options available to suit your palate. 

In Finnair Business Class, you can enjoy our new elegant bistro-like meals served on Finnair-exclusive chinaware from Iittala. Our meal concept celebrates the flavours of our Nordic heritage as well as the local cuisines from our global network.

When flying Finnair Business Class within Europe and the Middle East, we will serve you a delicious premium meal or a lighter bite along with complementing beverages (excluding champagne). Our menus vary depending on the flight duration and destination, and they are all built around delightfully distinctive Nordic elements.

One of our top priorities is to make you enjoy your time on board our flights. Whether you are working, reading or sleeping, we’ll help you feel comfortable during your flight.

In our renewed Business Class, you’ll discover an enhanced home-like space that allows you to relax, work or rest during your travel – the choice is yours. 

Our redesigned in-flight entertainment system with large touch screens and active noise-cancelling headphones will make time onboard fly. We have a large variety of movies, TV shows, games and music available in various languages for your enjoyment. 

All of our long-haul aircraft also offer on-board internet access, enabling you to work or enjoy your own entertainment during your flight.

If you have a Business Classic or Business Flex ticket, or if you are a Finnair Plus Silver, Gold, Platinum or Platinum Lumo member, you can enjoy complimentary internet for the entire flight.

With a Business Light ticket, you can easily purchase internet access whenever you need it.

Enjoy added privacy with an empty middle seat beside you on our flights within Europe and the Middle East operated with our Airbus A321, A320 and A319 fleet. 

Most of our aircraft offer on-board internet access and a selection of Finnish and foreign newspapers in digital form, available through the Nordic Sky portal. Some of the newspapers can be read free of charge and there is an even wider selection available for purchase.
