Make your journey smoother with priority check-in and security

You can now make your journey smoother by purchasing priority check-in and security as a travel extra for Finnair flights departing from selected airports. You can then use any of the priority check-in desks and security lines, which provide more options and give you peace of mind at the airport.

How do I purchase this service?

You can purchase the service separately for each departing flight and each passenger through our customer service. We are working on bringing it soon to Finnair app.

The prices are based on departure times and start from €15.90 for one way. Availability is limited per flight.

Who is this travel extra for?

Adding priority services as a travel extra is useful for anyone wishing to make their travels smoother and less stressful.

This travel extra is aimed at travellers who have bookings with Economy, Premium Economy and Business Light ticket types.

Some of our membership tiers include priority services as a tier benefit. As a Finnair Plus Silver, Gold, Platinum or Platinum Lumo member, you can continue to enjoy these services free of charge.

Business Classic and Flex tickets also include priority check-in and security.

Availability of priority services is limited per flight. The service is purchased separately for each flight and each passenger. If you would like to use these services for both outbound and return flights, please purchase the travel extra for both flights. Priority check-in and security are sold as a bundle and can't be purchased separately. The service is non-refundable. Changes are allowed according to the ticket rules. It is available only for departures and can't be used when transferring. Note that you can use the priority lanes during the check-in, security and priority lane opening hours. The pricing is dynamic and depends on your departure time. Finnair cannot guarantee shorter waiting times as they depend on the overall airport traffic.
