Some flights disrupted due to challenging weather conditions at Helsinki Airport on 10-11 December 2021

Icy rain and slippery weather conditions are expected to cause limitations to traffic and slow down other operations, like de-icing the aircraft, at Helsinki Airport on 10 and 11 December 2021.

Delays are expected, and we have cancelled some flights in advance to ensure as smooth as possible operations in the challenging circumstances on 10 and 11 December 2021. Due to Helsinki Airport’s temporary closure during the late evening on 10 December, we have also cancelled additional flights on 10 and 11 December. We continue to follow the situation closely and will update any new information on this page. We are sorry for the inconvenience this situation causes you and do our best to minimize the effects to you. If you have a booking on any of the disrupted flights, we’ll contact you personally via SMS and/or e-mail.
