Finnair City Bus service that operated between Helsinki city centre and Helsinki Airport has ended. The service provided by Pohjolan Liikenne has been suspended already as of 23 March 2020 due to the coronavirus situation and decreased customer numbers.
A free Airport Bus circulates between the parking areas and terminals of Helsinki Airport approximately every 15 minutes, from 3:30 a.m. to 01:30 a.m.
Changes in traffic and parking arrangements at Helsinki Airport
Helsinki Airport is being renovated to offer you an even smoother travel experience in the future. During the construction work, there are changes in the airport’s traffic and parking arrangements.
The taxi station that currently serves customers in front of Terminal 2 on the arrivals level will move to the ground floor of the terminal on 15 April 2019. To get to the new taxi station, customers can take the escalators or an elevator in the Arrivals hall 2A near Burger King restaurant.
The bus station will be in front of Scandic hotel from 15 May 2019 on. Bus driving routes will also change: the route to the new bus station will go through Teletie and Lentäjäntie.
If you arrive at the airport by taxi or are dropping someone off at the terminal, from 23 May 2019 on, the right place for this at Terminal 2 is on the arrivals level. Until then the spot is in front of the terminal on the departures level. Please note that you can stop only briefly in front of the terminal to avoid congestion. If you wish to accompany someone into the terminal or pick someone up, please use the short-term parking area in P3.
Parking halls P1 and P2 are closed. You can use parking halls P3 and P5 and outside parking area P4. Short-term and premium parking will be in P3.
