Can I bring duty-free purchases on flights from Bangkok to Melbourne?

Yes, you can bring duty-free purchases on your flight from Bangkok to Melbourne. Liquids, aerosols and gels over 100 ml must be sent to your gate with the duty-free shop’s gate delivery service. Otherwise, they’re removed at the security check at the gate.

Gate delivery is a service offered by duty-free shops at Bangkok Airport. The shop brings your purchase to your departure gate in a sealed bag. It’s available only for purchases made at Bangkok Airport.

All your purchases, including items delivered to the gate, count towards the carry-on baggage limits for both size and weight. Everything you bring on board must fit within these limits.
