Finnair operates purchase traffic to five regional cities in Finland until 28 March 2026

Finnair has won the tender organised by the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom on extension period for state-subsidised scheduled air services between five regional airports in Finland – Kajaani, Kemi, Kokkola, Joensuu, and Jyväskylä – and Helsinki.

We will operate scheduled flights to Kajaani, Kemi, Kokkola, Joensuu and Jyväskylä from 29 April 2024 to 28 March 2026.  Flights are available for sale at Finnair.com.

"We are pleased to be able to continue offering connections from these five cities to Helsinki as a purchase traffic operator. From Helsinki, customers have connections to our wide network of international destinations," says Perttu Jolma, Vice President of Network Management at Finnair.

The routes will be operated with ATR 72 aircraft operated by Norra, which have 68/70 seats. During a typical week, there are 10 weekly flights to Kajaani, 11 weekly flights to Jyväskylä, Joensuu, and Kokkola, and 12 flights per week to Kemi. You can the schedules on our Route timetables page
