Match your tier to Finnair Plus Silver or Gold
If you are a member of the SAS EuroBonus program, you can take advantage of the status match offer! All you need to do is join Finnair Plus, make a new flight booking for an eligible route and email us.
Routes eligible for the tier match include all Finnair flight bookings where the departure or arrival country is Sweden.
You must have a one-way or round-trip flight booking, and your flight must be marketed and operated by Finnair. Book by 23 April 2026 and travel between 2 April–30 September 2026.
If you are already a Finnair Plus member, your current Finnair Plus tier tracking period will reset to the date of the tier match. Finnair Plus tier status is valid for a year.
Eligible statuses for a match
- SAS EuroBonus Silver members will be matched with Finnair Plus Silver tier.
- SAS EuroBonus Gold, Diamond and Pandion members will be matched with Finnair Plus Gold tier.
- Finnair Plus Platinum and Platinum Lumo tiers will not be available for the match.
Follow these simple steps to enroll
- Log in as a member. If you are not yet a member, join now – it’s free and easy!
- Book one one-way Finnair flight or one Finnair round trip to or from Sweden.
- Send an email to loyaltystatus@finnair.com including
- email subject: Status match
- your first name and family name
- your contact details: email and phone number
- a photograph of your valid frequent flyer membership card (EuroBonus)
- your Finnair Plus membership number
- booking reference number of the booking that includes an eligible Finnair flight
Please note that your first name and family name should match between the application, flight booking, EuroBonus and Finnair Plus account.
You must apply for the status match by 23 April 2026 at the latest. Once you send us an email, we will review your application within four weeks. If your application is accepted successfully, you will get a greetings email about your new Finnair Plus tier.
