Due to the Finnish Aviation Union’s (IAU) industrial action on 2 May 2025 causing temporary delivery issues, there will unfortunately be limited food services on our domestic and European flights on 2 and 3 May 2025. We are also unable to deliver any pre-ordered items to these flights. If you have already purchased items, you can apply for a refund. 

We recommend bringing snacks for your flight, especially if you have specific dietary requirements, as we will not have any inflight food options. If you have access to Finnair lounges, you can enjoy hot meals at Helsinki Airport or a selection of snacks and meals at lounges in other airports before your journey. 

On our longhaul flights, you can enjoy meals as part of our standard service, as usual.  

We monitor the situation closely and will update this page with any new information. We are very sorry for the uncertainty and harm this situation may cause you, and we will do our best to minimise the impact on your journey.
