Krabi

Krabi is situated on the west coast of southern Thailand, surrounded by clear, turquoise seas and beautiful nature. The area holds something for everyone, whether you prefer to spend your holiday soaking up the sun, engaging in beach and water sports or exploring your surroundings.

There are many great opportunities for scuba diving, and the angular limestone karsts jutting up above the forests are a dream for rock climbers. Up in the hills, you can visit the Tiger Cave Temple, a serene sanctuary of meditation and cultural heritage. When you feel like having a rest, the nearby islands, such as Phi Phi, offer stretches of breathtakingly white beaches that you can easily reach from the mainland by ferry or speedboat.

For fresh fruit and authentic local food, visit the market on Maharat Soi in the centre of town. There are also many bars and cafés in town as well as on the islands of Phi Phi and Ao Nang if you’re in the mood for some drinks and dancing.

Direct flights to Krabi

Finnair offers direct flights from Helsinki to Krabi on Mondays and Thursdays from 30 November 2026 to 25 March 2027. The flight time is 11 hours and 25 minutes. Flights back to Helsinki are operated on Tuesdays and Fridays with a flight time of 12 hours and 45 minutes.
