Flights to Darwin
The Northern Territory's pearl
Darwin is a tropical gem in the Northern Territory of Australia, a city that is geographically closer to the paradise isles of Southeast Asia than it is to other major Australian cities. Darwin and the “top end” of Australia have a lot to offer, ranging from an urban setting with museums, restaurants and cafes to its gorgeous coastal nature.
Spend your time in Darwin getting to know the quaint surroundings of the Stokes Hill Wharf at Darwin’s Waterfront – the lagoon here is one of the only places in the area where swimming in the ocean is safe, as elsewhere you are likely to encounter crocodiles or swarms of jellyfish. Wander around the Museum and Art Gallery of Northern Territory for an immersion in the local culture. Don’t miss out on the surrounding nature, either. Go for a day trip in the nearby Litchfield National Park, or take a few days off and head to Kakadu National Park.
You can reach beautiful Darwin with Finnair and the oneworld alliance members’ extensive route network.
Darwin International Airport (DRW)
The airport is located 13 km northeast of the city centre. The airport shuttle bus and taxis take passengers into the city and car rental is available in the arrivals hall.
Always remember to check your airline’s terminal and check-in times.
