What should I do if my name on the ticket doesn’t match my passport?
Names must be spelled exactly as they are shown on your passport.
Due to the booking system that Finnair and many other airlines use, ‘ä’ is shown as ‘a’ and ‘ö’ is shown as ‘o’. There is no need to change them when making a reservation.
If your name on your ticket is different than on your passport, contact our customer service for amendment. A change fee applies.
