Direct flights to Turin

From 3 May 2026 onwards, Finnair offers direct flights from Helsinki to Turin multiple times a week during the summer season. In the winter season, flights operate once a week. The flight time is 3 hours.

The city centre of Turin is located about 18 km from Turin Airport and can be reached in approximately 30 minutes by train. The journey takes about 20–40 minutes by taxi and 30–50 minutes by bus, depending on the traffic. However, the travel time may be longer during rush hours. The National Museum of Cinema – housed inside the iconic Mole Antonelliana, this unique museum offers a captivating journey through Italian and international film history. Reggia di Venaria Reale – one of Italy’s most spectacular royal residences. This grand Baroque palace boasts vast gardens, an ornate gallery and impressive exhibitions. Located just about 30 minutes from Turin by train or car, it’s perfect for a cultural day trip.

Sacra di San Michele – perched atop Mount Pirchiriano, the Sacra di San Michele is an abbey overlooking the Susa Valley. Its impressive architecture, serene atmosphere and sweeping mountain views make it a favourite among photographers and history enthusiasts. This beautiful sight is reachable in around 1 hour from Turin by car.

The Langhe wine region – approximately 1 hour from Turin by car, this picturesque area is celebrated for its wines, truffles, hazelnuts and medieval villages. Visit Alba, a town renowned for its white truffle, and explore villages such as Barolo and La Morra for unforgettable wine tastings.

Milan – a city full of style and energy. Milan blends Gothic beauty with urban glamour – from the soaring cathedral, the Duomo, that dominates the skyline to the elegant glass-arched shopping arcade, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. The city pulses with fashion, art and design, offering a dynamic mix of history and innovation. From Turin, you can reach Milan in about 1 hour by train or 2 hours by car.

Genoa – a characterful port city between hills and sea, located approximately 2 hours from Turin by train or 2.5 hours by car. Piacenza – this elegant and quietly captivating city lies about 2.5 hours from Turin by train or car. Compact, calm and walkable, Piacenza invites slow exploration. Its heart, Piazza Cavalli, features striking equestrian statues and the Gothic Palazzo Gotico. Nearby churches, noble palaces and the rich collections of Palazzo Farnese reveal layers of art and history.
