What if I don’t receive the verification code for two-factor authentication?
It depends on which two-factor authentication method you are using. Here are the instructions by method:
Email:
- Check your spam folder — sometimes the email with the code may end up there.
- If you still don’t receive the email after a few minutes, try requesting a new code on the login page or starting over.
Authenticator app:
- Make sure you're checking the correct authenticator app and that it's linked to your Finnair Plus account.
- If you have more than one account set up in the app, double-check that you're viewing the right one.
- Make sure you’re entering the latest code before it expires – authenticator codes refresh every 30 seconds. The countdown is usually visible next to the code in the app.
Text message:
- Make sure your mobile phone has a good signal and can receive text messages.
- Wait a moment – sometimes there can be a slight delay.
- Restart your phone or toggle airplane mode on and off to refresh your connection.
Please note that Finnair Plus is discontinuing two-factor authentication by text message. We recommend switching to email or an authenticator app as soon as possible. Simply log in and go to the Two-factor authentication section under Update profile.
