Finnair will return to normal ticket rules for bookings made as of 1 June 2022. It is finally easier to hold on to your travel plans, as the coronavirus pandemic has moved to a new phase with a high vaccination coverage and travel restrictions being removed across countries.
We have updated our traffic plan for summer 2022, as the closure of the Russian airspace impacts our Asian traffic. See the instructions here if your travel plans are affected due to changes.
We have introduced a new payment device onboard our flights to offer you new payment method options. Due to the change process of the devices, we may experience occasional disruptions with onboard payments.

Changes in carrying pets in hold on our intercontinental flights

Due to the coronavirus situation, we do not currently accept new bookings to carry a pet in the hold of our wide body aircraft on intercontinental flights. The restriction is valid from 9 June 2021 until further notice.
