For the time being, Finnair does not use Iranian airspace to route its flights. The changes in flight routes may affect our flights from Doha at the moment, extending the flight time. Finnair doesn’t have flights to Iran in its traffic plan. We are sorry for the inconvenience this situation may cause you and do our best to minimise the effects on your travel plans.

Safety is always our first priority. We follow closely the recommendations of the authorities and continuously carry out our own assessment of possible factors related to the use of airspace that may affect our flights. We will update any new information on this page.

If your flight would be disrupted, we’ll contact you personally via SMS and/or e-mail. Please go to Manage booking and check that we have your current contact information.

If you miss your connecting flight due to a delayed arrival of your first flight, we’ll re-route you to your destination. As the availability of alternative flights is limited, re-routing may take time. Thank you for your patience. We’ll send you your new flight information via SMS and/or email, and you can check it and other possible flight options also via Manage booking.
