Finnair is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the digital user experience for everyone, and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
This accessibility statement is created on 22 October 2019 and describes the conformance of the Finnair.com website according to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), that define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
Based on this evaluation, the Finnair.com website is partially conformant and close to meeting WCAG 2.1, Conformance Level AA requirements.
Partially conformant means that some parts of the content, for example colour contrasts, do not fully conform to the accessibility standards. Some of the pages are not fully supporting assisting technology such as screen readers. Feedback on this evaluation is welcome.
