Can I change my booking and how much does it cost?

Yes, you can change your booking online if you have purchased a Classic or Flex ticket through Finnair.com or the Finnair app. Light and Superlight tickets cannot be changed. To change award flights or tickets that have been upgraded with Avios or upgrade benefits, you need to contact customer service.

You can check your ticket type and its conditions from the booking confirmation in your email. If ticket changes are permitted, travel dates can be moved up to 12 months ahead.

The total cost of the change depends on where you make the change, the rules of your ticket type, availability and possible fees. For example, the change is free of charge if you make it online, there is no difference in price and no fees apply. If no seats were available in the original booking class, you would have to pay the price difference.
