Every year at the beginning of February, the city is celebrating a popular snow festival: Sapporo Snow Festival. Take in the atmosphere of a big winter party, admire the detailed ice sculptures and talented musicians. And, as said, the event is wildly popular – every February, the famous snow festival attracts over 2 million visitors to the city.
