Kyoto is full of sights and attractions, each more beautiful than the last.
For a thousand years, Kyoto was the capital of Japan, and it is abundant with original Japanese culture. Don’t even attempt to cover all of Kyoto’s attractions during one visit. Pick a few well- or lesser known point of interest so that you leave enough time to absorb the lovely atmosphere of the city. Kyoto is where the charm of ancient Japan resides.
As a holiday destination, Kyoto has a lot to offer. Kyoto is all about tradition, but it is also a modern metropolis with plenty of places to shop and eat. Kyoto is easily accessible from Osaka.
