Preparing for your trip

  • Travel documents

    All minors need a passport or other travel documents, depending on the destination country.

  • Baggage allowance

    A child with their own seat has the same baggage allowance as an adult in the same travel class. An infant’s is one max. 23-kg bag.

  • Travelling alone

    Over 12-year-old children can travel alone, younger children need an escort. We also offer an escort service for Unaccompanied Minors.

  • Baby food

    Milk and food can be taken in the cabin in its original, unopened packaging.

  • Pushchairs

    You can bring a foldable pushchair into the cabin if it doesn’t exceed the size and weight limits for carry-on-baggage. Larger pushchairs are carried as checked baggage free of charge.

  • Own infant seat or car seat

    You can bring your own seat for children under 2 years, but please confirm with our customer service beforehand.

  • Baby baskets, cots and bassinets

    You can reserve a seat suitable for a cot or a bassinet in advance either via Manage booking, holiday package travels extras or through our Customer service.
