Please note:
- If you have already used your flight ticket or a travel extra but want to apply for compensation or give feedback, you can do it through the Feedback and claims page.
- If you have purchased Finnair Cancellation Cover and could not travel due to sickness, you can apply for a refund on the Finnair Cancellation Cover Claim page.
- If you are requesting a refund for an undelivered prepaid travel extra (for example, a selected seat or a meal), please use the refund form below. We handle your refund without service fee.
- Has Finnair cancelled or changed your flight due to disruptions? If you choose not to travel, you can use the self-service tool above to cancel and request a refund. If you are unable to complete the request using the tool, please use the refund form below instead. We handle your refund request without service fee. Read more about your refund options.
- If you voluntarily cancel your reservation, please use Manage booking before the departure of your cancelled flight to request a refund as per the terms and conditions of your ticket type. Requesting a refund through Manage booking doesn't have a service fee.
- If you are requesting a refund after the departure of the flight you have voluntarily cancelled, please use the form bellow. A €50 service fee per ticket (or equivalent in local currency) applies for cancellations of Classic, Light and Superlight ticket types when the refund is processed through this form. - Our average handling time is approximately 7 days. Some requests may unfortunately take more time to be handled.

Please send your request only once, as duplicates will delay the handling of the applications. If you have inbound and outbound flights on the same ticket, you need to complete the refund form only once.

Refund payment method
We will pay the refund to the same credit card account or to another payment method that you used to purchase the ticket. It is good to know that the refund payment may be shown on the date your ticket was issued instead of the refund payment date.
