The world is getting smaller
The blazing southern sun, big city lights and captivating, foreign sights are all within your reach by air. Our magnificent 1950s style retro plane, Silver Bird, flew to Oulu, Kuopio and Rovaniemi in Finland and to charming cities in Europe, among them Amsterdam, Paris and London, from the end of July 2008 until the start of year 2009. Just imagine it: when you travel by air, you can walk on home and foreign soil during the course of just one day!
The retro flights were operated between July 30th and December 31st, 2008. Finnair offered a total of 61 special retro flights with retro cabin crew.
