Our new service provider for lost and found property services is Excess Baggage Company as of 12 September 2023. Excess Baggage Company has an office at Helsinki Airport, which is important both to serve our customers and to ensure a smooth process when delivering lost and found items from our aircraft and facilities to the lost property service.

If you have left items on our aircraft or premises in Finland before 9 September 2023:

• You can inquire about your property from Suomen Löytötavarapalvelu.
• From 12 September to 11 October 2023, Suomen Löytötavarapalvelu offices in Turku (+358 6000 3391) and Kouvola (+358 6000 3390) can answer inquiries about lost and found items but do not handle or cannot hand over lost property in Finnair aircraft or premises. From 12 September to 11 October 2023, Suomen Löytötavarapalvelu offices in the Helsinki metropolitan area and their service number +358 600 41 006 will be closed.
• As of 12 October 2023, lost and found items can be picked up again when the Helsinki Metropolitan Area offices and service number +358 600 41 006 will be open again.

If you leave items on our aircraft or premises in Finland as of 9 September 2023:

• You can inquire about lost property forgotten from Excess Baggage Company, which has an office on the 1st floor of Helsinki Airport, in the arrivals hall.
• Excess Baggage Company has an office on the 1st floor of Helsinki Airport, in the arrivals hall.

If belongings are forgotten on board our aircraft while it’s outside of Finland:

• You can contact the lost property service at the local airport. Depending on the lost property and who finds it, it can also be delivered to a Finnair ground services representative, who will send it to Excess Baggage Company in Helsinki.
