Collecting points – Car Rental Companies

The world's leading car rental companies are available to Finnair Plus members. You can continue to collect Plus points by hiring a car from one of the Finnair Plus car rental partners. You may also use your Plus points to pay for car hire.

Your points will remain valid for five years. However, points earned through car hire do not count towards qualification for the Finnair Plus Silver, Gold or Platinum tiers.

500 Plus points are granted for hiring a car from the airport or city office of a car hire firm.

 

  • Certain discount packages are excluded from the points programme.
  • Remember to show your Finnair Plus membership card when collecting the hired car.

Avis offers car hire services to Finnair Plus members at special reduced rates. Please remember to state the tier and membership number from your Finnair Plus membership card and the Avis AWD number on the back of the card when placing your booking.

The Hertz website now allows you to reserve a car anywhere in the world. Please remember to state the tier and membership number from your Finnair Plus membership card and the Hertz AWD number on the back of the card when placing your booking.

Missing points

Please retain your original car hire agreement until the points appear in your Finnair Plus account. Points can no longer be credited to your account retroactively after six (6) months have elapsed from the time of hiring the car.
