Collaboration between airlines in the oneworld alliance also extends to use of Finnair Plus points. These points can take you around the world by purchasing a oneworld award flight. A oneworld award allows you one stopover at each destination in the itinerary.
You may use a oneworld award when your award journey includes:
- two oneworld airlines other than Finnair (e.g. British Airways and Cathay Pacific), or
- three oneworld airlines (e.g. Finnair, British Airways and Cathay Pacific).
- All oneworld airlines may be used for an award journey, provided that the combined round-trip distance does not exceed 80,000 kilometres.

The Finnair Plus Service Centres will calculate the combined length of an award journey and the corresponding points charge.

Planning your air travel has become even easier now that all timetables in the oneworld airline alliance are available on the Internet. The oneworld partners and their subsidiaries operate more than 8,000 flights every day, serving some 600 destinations in 134 countries around the world.
These timetables also include co-operation or code-share flights operated by oneworld airlines in association with other airlines. Please note that Plus awards cannot be purchased for all of these services.
