From Tuesday, March 16, 2010, Finnair will use the new terminal extension, Terminal 3 at Málaga Airport. T3 is located next to the already existing Terminal 2, which Finnair has used previously, and is within walking distance from T2.
Kingfisher, the leading airline on India's internal routes, has announced that it is joining the oneworld alliance. Finnair flies daily to Delhi, from where Kingfisher has excellent onward connections.
Flight AY022 from Delhi to Helsinki on Monday, February 22, was the final passenger flight in scheduled traffic of Finnair's Boeing MD-11 aircraft. Finnair began its successful conquest of Asia with the wide-bodied MD-11 at the turn of the millennium, and this type of aircraft has been in the company's service for nearly 20 years.
