You can check in immediately for the entire journey to your ultimate destination when travelling with oneworld airlines. Furthermore, the oneworld airlines operate from the same or adjacent airport terminals throughout the world, which greatly facilitates transfers and connections. Airlines in the oneworld alliance also provide some 550 airport departure lounges throughout the world.

The oneworld alliance greatly increases your frequent flyer benefits. You earn award points for scheduled flights with oneworld airlines and may correspondingly use your points for any scheduled oneworld airline flight. Your oneworld points also count towards your tier points total.

As the frequent flyer programmes of various airlines all have different names, the oneworld alliance has created a symbol for each of the various tiers. These symbols ensure that frequent flyers on each tier always enjoy the appropriate benefits and services. The symbols are also shown on Finnair Plus Platinum, Gold and Silver membership cards.
