Newspapers and magazines
The Economy and Business Classes on international flights, offer a selection of Finnish and foreign language newspapers. In the Business Class of intercontinental flights there are also magazines available. Personal copies of the inflight magazine, "Blue Wings", with English and Finnish articles, published ten times per year, are available in the seat pocket.
Music and films
Headphones are available for listening to music on intercontinental flights and Leisure flights. On scheduled flights the headphones are free of charge. On Leisure flights you can purchase headphones for use on the return flight as well. The international, versatile and contemporary inflight music selection offers something for children, young people and adults alike.
- The Economy Class on the Boeing MD-11 aircraft features, depending on the individual aircraft, 14–16 music channels, while there are 16–18 music channels in Business Class.
- The Airbus A340-300 and A330-300 aircraft has 20 music channels and a collection of 60 albums that you can use to compile your own playlists.
The films shown on the Boeing MD-11, Airbus A340-300 and A330-300 aircrafts are all recent productions for a wide audience, suitable for onboard entertainment. We also show films from the destination countries as well as short programmes, such as TV series. The feature films change every month and often coincide with the premieres of the films in Finland. Other films and short programmes change every two months.

Airshow route map system
The Boeing MD-11 and Airbus aircrafts are equipped with an Airshow system that displays the progress of the flight on a map and provides information on different stages of the flight. You can follow the Airshow programme on the ceiling monitors or on the personal video equipment installed in the Boeing MD-11 Business Class and the entire cabin on the Airbus A340-300 and A330-300 aircraft.
During the flight, the Airshow programme shows the remaining flight time to destination, estimated arrival time, local time, temperature outside the aircraft, and at the destination, as well as the aircraft ground speed and altitude.
After the video safety instructions, the panoramic camera shows images from outside the aircraft during takeoff and landing, on the Airbus A340-300 and A340-300 aircraft and the Airbus A319/A320/A321 aircraft operating in Europe.
Personal entertainment system
Boeing MD-11
In the Business Class of some Boeing MD-11 aircraft, there is a personal entertainment system and display at your disposal. Some aircraft also have a DVD player and a selection of programmes.
- The entertainment system contains 12 video channels, 16–18 music channels and a power outlet for a laptop computer.
- There are a few laptop adaptors onboard that you can borrow from the crew.
- In Economy Class you can watch films on the ceiling monitors and the screens on the front wall of the cabin.

Airbus A340-300 and A330-300
On the Airbus A340-300 and A330-300 aircraft, every seat is equipped with a personal entertainment system and screen that the passenger can use, including in Economy Class.
- The personal entertainment system in the seats on the Airbus A340-300 and A330-300 aircraft, include a satellite phone, a large selection of films, several TV and audio programmes, 16 games and a power outlet for a laptop computer and your own music player (no adaptor needed).
- You can send text messages and short e-mails to networks on the ground, using the satellite phone of the entertainment system in your seat. Replies can also be sent to the messages from the ground. The message costs US$2 a call to the ground costs US$7/minute. Calling another passenger on the aircraft is also possible using the phone, without any charge.
Entertainment for children
The material provided for children onboard helps them stay entertained and calm during a flight that might be exciting for them. We distribute toys and other items to children at the beginning of the flight.
The products for children are safe, of high quality and suitable for use onboard. The items vary depending on the duration of the flight and the age of the child. For example, travel games, playing cards and sticker booklets are suitable pastimes for children.
Leisure flights
Leisure flights music channels and films are listed in the Leisure flights brochure located in the seat pocket. The films selected for the flights are suitable for families and children and the selection changes three times per year. During the flight we also show cartoons for children.
- You can rent a Sony PSP game console and two games for 8 euros during the flight.
- Headphone rental is 3 euros.
- Children's activity packs cost 5 euros.
- The Boeing 757 aircraft are equipped with an Airshow map system.
