Shopping
The product selection on the flights includes cosmetics and fragrances for both men and women, gift items for adults and children, confectionary, jewellery and games and toys for children. On intercontinental flights and on flights to and from destinations outside the European Union, alcohol and tobacco products are also available for purchase, except on flights operated with Embraer aircraft within Europe.
Non-EU destinations
You may purchase tax-free products, alcohol and tobacco on the aircraft when you fly to and from destinations outside the European Union. These include all intercontinental flights, the European destinations Ekaterinburg, Geneva, Istanbul and Zürich, as well as the Canary Islands and the island of Jersey served by Leisure flights. Due to limited space onboard the aircraft, alcohol and tobacco products are not for sale on flights operated with Embraer aircraft within Europe, but the products may be ordered through the pre-order service at www.finnairshop.com.
Destinations within the EU
You can purchase gift items, cosmetics, fragrances and confectionary, but not tobacco or alcohol, on scheduled flights to and from these European destinations: Amsterdam, Barcelona, Brussels, Bucharest, Budapest, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Lisbon, Ljubljana, London, Madrid, Manchester, Milan, Munich, Paris, Prague, Rome, Venice and Vienna. On flights within the EU the products are affordable but not tax-free.
Shorter flights within Europe
On flights to and from Berlin, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Hamburg, Kiev, Moscow, Oslo and Warsaw a few items are for sale onboard.
Flights within Finland
On flights to and from Ivalo, Kittilä, Kuusamo and Rovaniemi, the same articles are for sale as on the shorter European routes mentioned above.
Pre-orders for the return flight
On all intercontinental and most European routes you may make pre-orders on the outbound flight for the return flight. In Europe this is possible on all other routes, except to and from Bergen, Riga, St. Petersburg, Stockholm, Tallinn and Vilnius. Pre-orders for European return flights have to be made at least 3 days before the return flight departs and at least 5 days before the intercontinental or Leisure flight departs. The pre-orders are collected by the cabin crew on your outbound flight.
