Moving from the Gold tier to the Platinum tier

The oneworld™ tier symbols

For promotion from the Finnair Plus Silver tier to the Gold tier, you will need to collect 120,000 Plus tier points or make 72 scheduled international flights with Finnair or another oneworld™ airline*) during your 12-month tracking period. At least four (4) of these flights must be international scheduled flights with Finnair.

To continue on the Gold tier, you will need to collect at least 210,000 Plus tier points or make 130 scheduled international flights with Finnair or another oneworld airline*) during the next tracking period of 24 months. At least four (4) of these flights must be international scheduled flights with Finnair.

Should you fail to collect enough points to renew your membership of the Gold tier or to rise to the Platinum tier by the end of the tracking period, then you will be transferred to the tier that corresponds to your tier points total, this total will be reset to zero and a new tracking period will begin.

For promotion from the Gold tier to the Platinum tier, you will need to collect 300,000 Plus tier points or make 186 scheduled international flights with Finnair or another oneworld airline*) during your 24-month tracking period. At least four (4) of these flights must be international scheduled flights with Finnair. Your tracking period may also end before the time limit is reached, that is, as soon as you have collected the number of points required for the Platinum tier.

*) Excluding domestic flights in Finland.

The special oneworld tier symbols ensure that you enjoy benefits according to your tier whenever you fly with Finnair or another oneworld airline. On a Finnair Plus Gold membership card the symbol is a blue Sapphire.
