You can receive awards if you have enough points in your account. In addition to the points used to pay for your award travel, you pay only passenger charges, taxes and any other surcharges.

Finnair award flights are available for a smaller number of points when booked through the Internet. The discount is from 1,000 to 3,000 points, depending on the normal points charge for the award concerned. Simply log in and book your flight.

Finnair does not fly to all these destinations throughout the year, but serves some destinations only in summer and others only in winter. Only a limited number of seats are available.
| Junior Plus flight awards |
Junior Plus members enjoy a 50 per cent discount on the normal points charge for Finnair (AY code on the ticket) award flights (when members under 12 years of age travel with an adult). The discount is not applicable to one-way flight awards. If there are not enough points in the Junior Plus member’s account to pay for the award, then points may also be debited from the account of another family member. | Regulations for award flights |
- The charge in points for a flight award applies to one person. Connecting flights in Finland are included in scheduled international flights.
- Finnair Plus awards may be used by a Finnair Plus member and by the member's next of kin and other persons living with them in the same household.
- Awards are valid only on flights operated by Finnair (restrictions apply to code-share flights).
- The customer must pay the passenger charge, taxes and any other surcharges for award flights.
- The point of departure and arrival must be the same (excluding one-way award flights).
- Connecting flights for award flights are always booked on the first available flight, with no stopovers permitted.
- Outward flight and return flight of a round-trip award cannot be taken on the same day.
- The return flight may not be changed after the journey has begun.
- One stop is permitted in intercontinental flights.
- If part of an award flight is made at a different travel class, then the points charge for the entire journey will correspond to the highest travel class enjoyed.
- When the award is booked the corresponding number of points will be debited from the member’s Finnair Plus account.
- Awards may not be exchanged for cash, nor may two overlapping awards be taken.
- No refunds or compensation is payable for lost, stolen or unused tickets or vouchers.
- Junior Plus discount does not apply to one way flights.

The number of seats available for the booking classes required for award flights is limited. No award flights may be booked for separately specified times or services.
