Intercontinental flights Business Class

Finnair Business Class passengers, Finnair Plus Platinum and Gold members and oneworld Emerald members (regardless of travel class), may enjoy a light buffet before departure from Helsinki on the late evening flight to Bangkok (AY095 at 23:55). The buffet is served in the Via Lounge starting at 21:00. Onboard the flight a lighter and quicker meal is served to ensure more time for the passengers to rest during the flight.

The meal and beverage selection on the intercontinental flights in Business Class, is contemporary and of high quality. During the intercontinental flights, meals and wine can be selected from the menu and service is customised to meet each passenger's personal preferences. At the beginning of the flight, every passenger receives a bottle of fresh spring water.

An example of the Business Class meal service on intercontinental daytime flights:

an appetizer
soup as a small meal, side dish or option
three main course alternatives
a cheese platter, fruit and ice cream for dessert; on inbound flights a pastry is also offered
sandwiches, fruit and ice-cream for snacks.
The Business Class on many of our Airbus A340-300 and A330-300 aircraft also has a separate snack bar at the main entrance. We also serve snacks on all flights between the meals and before landing. During night-time flights, the meal service is lighter to ensure an uninterrupted flight and longer time for rest.
Coffee and several types of tea are available throughout the flight in Business Class on intercontinental flights.

Finnair Business Class passengers may order a quicker meal service on intercontinental flights. You can make an order upon booking your trip or by requesting it at the beginning of the flight. The meal is served immediately after takeoff, leaving you more time for resting or working during the flight. The meal includes an optional appetiser or soup of the month, as well as an optional dessert or cheese platter with coffee or tea.
