"When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford", said author Samuel Johnson in 1777. The same is true today. London, the home of the red double-decker buses, Big Ben and the Queen of England, is a true cornucopia of experiences for a traveller.

So, where should a visitor start? From the shopping heavens of Oxford Street and High Street Kensington, the cool and comfortable picnic spots of Regent’s Park and Hyde Park, or the theatre performances in the West End, or the Soho wild nightlife? Perhaps you should head to the hustle and bustle of Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus and take in the ambience of the metropolis under the neon lights, or maybe enjoy the art treasures housed in the Tate Modern and the National Gallery? How about topping it all off with a visit to the aquarium and the London Zoo? Every now and then, it is good to take a breather and stop at a traditional English pub by the Thames, you can always go back into London centre once you've caught your breath!
