Finnair gift vouchers are now on sale through our website. You simply choose the value of the gift voucher – prices range from €50 to €2,000 – and the recipient can plan and book the flights of their choice.
Finnair gift vouchers are valid for one year, and can be used on all Finnair flights (AY code on the flight) departing from countries that use the euro as their currency. Flights must be booked through the Finnair website.
How to purchase
Finnair gift vouchers can be purchased conveniently online. Simply choose the value of the voucher and complete your purchase through your online banking account. You will receive the gift card in your email, along with an order confirmation. You can either print out the voucher, or forward it to the recipient.
Finnair Plus points cannot be used.
How to use
A Finnair gift voucher can be used to pay for Finnair flights (flights with an AY code) that are booked through the Finnair website. If the value of the gift voucher is not enough to cover the full fare, you can pay the rest through a Finnish online banking service. The voucher can also be used for multiple purchases. You can only use one voucher per booking. The voucher cannot be used to pay for Finnair Plus award flights. To use the voucher, book your flight through the Finnair website, and enter the voucher number and code into the designated field. If applicable, you can then pay for the rest of your ticket.
Please note that if you are paying with a voucher only, you will be charged the regular service fee of €5 when you book your flights through our website.
Can’t use the voucher before it expires? Not to worry. The voucher is not personal, so you can always pass it on to a friend.
Additional travel services
Unfortunately, if you’re using a Finnair gift voucher to pay for your flights, you cannot purchase additional travel services at the same time when making your flight reservation. However, you can purchase additional travel services via the My booking service on our website after making the reservation.
