Bicycles
- Bicycles are not included in your checked baggage allowance – therefore, you will always need to pay a special-baggage fee at the airport to transport a bicycle. If you are planning on traveling with any special equipment, like a bicycle, you should notify us when you make your flight reservation. You should also ensure that you arrive at the check-in well in advance of your flight’s departure time.
- A bicycle must be packed for transport so that the handlebars are turned parallel to the front wheel, the pedals are removed and the air pressure in the tyres is reduced to a minimum. If there are any sharp points on the bicycle, they must be covered with thick plastic or cardboard.
